Adding a Sale / Menu item
Name that is familiar to your customers. The product name is the sale name that would be easy for you AND the public to find.
Category is your choice to assist group your sales products in easily found groups. Any Categories already established will show or you can add a new one if necessary.
Brand option if you are looking to establish a Brand or need further identification
Producer Add your own Business as the Primary Producer; or – if the product you sell is primarily from one of your purchases you can directly link the primary producer recorded in the purchase to this sale creating your Paddock / Ocean to Plate network. Additional links in the network can be added in your Trace Network report
Menu Item If adding a Menu Item add the item without creating the sale. It will list the item in your products available for Sale without completing any actual sales to Business Partner
Create the Sale
Linking the Sale Item with the Supplier you have sold it to and/or if known the Retail Outlet who will provide to the general public. If your “Supplier” or “Retail Outlet” does not autocomplete you may need to “Add New Business”
New Business
Required fields – Business Name and location Country, State, Suburb.
As adding a New Business takes you back to the start of the form you may want to attempt the autocomplete and add, if necessary, if you suspect you will need to add new Business
